What’s This About a Sonic-Eggman Team?
Summer hasn’t even officially begun yet, and already we have some new information regarding some Sonic comics that will be release in the Fall.
The Bumbleking Comics forum has released some future cover art for both the main Archie Sonic the Hedgehog comic, and the new side series Sonic Universe. No clear plot points were disclosed–except some teasers right on the cover. The cover of #204 teases an unlikely partnership between Sonic and Eggman. That issue will be out in September. Meanwhile, Sonic #205, slated for release in October, will pit Sonic against Monkey Khan, and late September/early October’s Sonic Universe #8 will cap off the 30 Years Later story arc .

@Soul: Argyle? Seriously? Ugh, being an Archie writer just means you get to make fan-characters.
Bleh. Ian Flynn’s done quite well. I haven’t read any issues with Argyle yet, but I’d give Ian the chance. He’s done some pretty amazing things for the series.
Sonic 205′s cover looks ugly as heck!
@Soul: Eh, ok. I know Ian’s a good writer. It’s just the fact that he’s Vector’s son and – doesn’t he look like a fan-character to you?
That he does. Ian didn’t create him, though, just to point that out. ;P I admit that Archie does have it’s fanfic-y moments, but eh, the games do, too sometimes.
There are loads of kids, in the XYL stories. Heck, Argyle is the only non-major kid on that cover who was in 25YL, and that had a host of kids to name (Sonia, Manik, Salma, Juanita, Rutan e.t.c.)
I’m sort of glad he has a bigger bearing, actually. The only thing to note, though; STILL NO KIDS FOR CHARMY OR MIGHTY? FAVOURITISM.

Pur: Well, Charmy’s currently mentally retarded, so I don’t see that happening. I dunno ’bout Mighty, though.
And for note, Mina, and Tails’ kids are Melody, and Skye.
…I hated the Egg Grape Saga for that reason alone, Soul. Charmy can’t seem to get any respect in or out of the games. And it’s worse for me since he’s my second-favourite character.
Also, I’m a little confuzzled about the Antonnie kids. How does one inherit mechanical limbs? Even if the feet were added to replicate their mother, why are their HANDS also roboticised? I don’t see Bunnie with a robotic hand.
The real question is how the heck did bunny go about giving birth to those kids…I mean as far as I know her entire lower body is robotic. XD
