Plus: Let’s Catch on WiiWare Any Day Now
If you blinked, you may have missed it: Sega has quietly released Yuji Naka and Prope’s Let’s Tap on domestic audiences. North America can pick up the game now; in fact this reporter spotted it at retail chain Best Buy over the weekend. European audiences will see a release later this week.
There’s some additional news to report from the back cover of the game’s instruction manual: It appears the game’s little brother Let’s Catch, rated for a Summer release on WiiWare, may be coming a lot sooner than you think, perhaps as early as this week. The back cover states clearly that the game is “out now” on WiiWare; that may not be the case at this moment. The copy obtained by TSSZ News may have been intended for a Tuesday release, which would better coincide with a WiiWare release crop. We will keep you informed of the latest developments.
In the meantime, to mark the game’s official release on Friday, Sega has released the final trailer for the game, featuring its Visualizer mode. This mode is more chill than the others, allowing players to use varying levels of tapping to stimulate the environment. You can set off fireworks, attract fish, and even make your own artwork.
Take a look at how it all works below. TSSZ News will have a review of Let’s Tap in short order.

whoa, I think I must of blinked! Not that I was ever too interested in this game… as hard as I may try I really cannot get over my bitterness towards Yuji Naka for obvious reasons too petty to explain. Business is business, I should get over this he likely has a lot of talent.
I’ll be looking out for the review.
Just bought and played Let’s Catch, it is definitely an interesting game. It’s very simple and very fun. During the first character I played catch with he asked if I’d played Let’s Tap yet. This is a great game to just sit back and relax with (I actually played reclining on my couch).
