The 30 Years Later Story Begins Inside
Just this morning, Archie Comics posted the official preview of Sonic Universe #5, which begins the four part 30 Years Later arc. The story begins, as you’ll see in the pages below, with King Sonic and Queen Sally Acorn–and their offspring–lounging around, reflecting on the the way it was in once war-torn Mobius via…well, a news report. As we join in, five years of peace have been marked on the planet…of course, keeping the peace is never easy.
Ian Flynn penned the script, and Tracy Yardley handled art and pencils. Take a look at the description below, and start to get immersed with the cover and the first five pages. One thing I can’t understand about these comics is whatever happened to Sonamy? Perhaps you grow to love Sally more in the comics, but wheres Amy? It’s a bit sad really

Oh, God…That’s because Sally came first, and Amy came in around the Sonic CD Adaptation of the comic book. Even so, it’s never gonna happen. If they became a couple, Amy wouldn’t have a character anymore and there wouldn’t be a reason for her to stick around.
Man, neither Shadow nor Sally look very pleased with that turn of events. Also, Sasha is a horribly biased reporter.
