Will the Seller Get his $499?
You may remember back in April when we told you about this plushie of Bean the Dynamite hitting the EBay auction block for an absurdly high price. It didn’t sell the first time, and it didn’t even sell the second time at a reduced asking price.
Now, more than two months after it hit the auction block, it finally looks like someone will grab the Frenchman’s self-proclaimed “rare” item, paying only half of what was originally desired.
Fourteen open bids have now yielded a $250 asking price for the plushie, which only has about a day left on EBay. The bidding for this round began at 99 cents. The original asking price was $499. If you need more evidence that the recession still exists, you need look no further.
The Bean plushie remains the only item the seller, itreblac, has up for auction.

Even I consider this to be a little steep for this plush…
250 bucks for that ?! Now that`s crazy I would only buy it for 50 bucks
I don’t think he will get that much. It is just stupid to sell something like that for so much money.
I would sell it for 100$ maybe not even that high.
Maybe 85$, but that’s way too expensive.
*Walks in. Reads article* I hate this fanbase. *Walks out.*
Okay, what? I’m sorry, but NO little plush is worth THAT much. Personally, I wouldn’ t pay over $50.
Gods, sometimes I question the sanity of people in this fandom.
I know it sounds crazy, but that’s actually a fair price for that plush. It’s pretty rare, but it’s not the most expensive one out there. The Sonic the Fighters Super Sonic plush sells for at LEAST $500, and it’s not unusual for a SA2 Shadow plush to sell for $1000, even with a flaw.
