Mario & Sonic, Sega Superstars Tennis make UK Top 40

Both Mario & Sonic, Sega Superstars Tennis still among top 40 in the UK…
Chart Track has recently released their top 40 entertainment software sales for the week ending on July 4th in the UK. Both Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games and Sega Superstars Tennis are still among the top 40, both titles released more than a year ago.
Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games was released 11-23-07 on the Nintendo Wii, and 2-8-08 on the Nintendo DS and is currently at 26th on the chart. Last year Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games was the 5th best selling game of the year in the UK, so it’s no surprise the game continues to sell extremely well. Sega Superstars Tennis was released 3-20-08 for the Sony PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and DS, the game currently ranks 33rd on the chart.
Other Sega licensed video games on the top 40 UK sales chart is Virtua Tennis 2009 (9th), and Football Manager 2009 (40th). Thanks to my pal Shadzter from The Sonic Stadium for bringing my attention to this.

Oh, c’mon Nintendo. When are we gonna get it over with? We know you and Sega are planning a Mario and Sonic platformer.
It’ll only sell a bazillion copies and put the Wii at the #1 spot permanently.

i love the olympics game =) but im not fussed on the tennis one, tails looks so ill on the wii model.
I want a Mario and Sonic platformer. Just thought I’d throw that out there. Maybe I’ll send an email to Nintendo and Sega, or something.
Dr. Eggman : Yes an platformer game is mostly coming after M.S.A.T.O.W.G since fans keep bugging Nintendo & SEGA if they do make here`s what I want to see : 2D & 3D , Animated Cutscenes, Classic Levels, Text Boxes (when the characters talk to each other) , Mario using the Chaos Emeralds with Sonic & Sonic using the Fire Flower to turn into Fire Sonic .
