What You May or May Not See in the Final Product
Until recently, InstantSonic, one of this year’s SAGE organizers, was also heavily involved in seeing Sonic Robo Blast 2 to completion.
He now isn’t, and that’s allowed him to share with SFGers some of the work he produced for the game. Some–like updated enemies sprites–you will see when SRB2′s final release is expected later this month. Others–like the art we’re showing below–seems a bit more open-ended.
Here’s what Instant said on the work to his colleagues at Sonic Fan Games HQ:
All of the sprites are made from scratch, using MSPaint. Most of these sprites have more animations involved, but you’ll see that playing the game!

There are also more sprites I’ve done, such as the “Sea Egg,” the “JetJaw Mini,” “Skim,” “Underwater Mine,” “Eggknight,” and “Buzz,” all of which I don’t have the sources to, so you’ll have to play the game to see them.
You can see those sprites at the link above. We’ve provided below some of the higher resolution enemy concept art shared with the masses. With or without this set 0f badniks, SRB2 is shaping up, after more than a decade, to be one of the premier attractions at this year’s SAGE. We’ll be sure to give you more details on the game on the road to this year’s expo.

cant w8 for this game beat the demo like 700 times
What are these shenanigans, InstantSonic?
Metal Robotnik? Seems to me that the final boss or second to final boss will be freaking AWESOME. Depends if it’ll be Metal Sonic then Robotnik or the other way around.
