Confirmed: Sonic Rebirth’s Full Version Out During SAGE

Exact Date Disclosed Inside
Most of you may have seen the date left as a comment on our previous news story, but we felt it’s important enough to get it further out in the open.
The highly anticipated Sonic fan game Sonic Rebirth will be on July 30th, right at the end of the Sonic Amateur Games Expo. That’s according to a teaser site hosted on Brazilian fan site Power Sonic.
Rebirth will be a featured title at SAGE. However, we don’t actually know if the link above directs to what will be the SFG’s official SAGE booth. This year, SAGE organizers are requiring the existence of a demo to be considered in the fold, and that link only shows, in picture form, what’s expected in the final product–all the classic zones from Sonic 1, and the three zones unique to the Game Gear/Master System edition of the game, Bridge, Jungle, and Sky Base.
Sonic Rebirth will join only a handful of Sonic fan games in the community’s history that have seen completion. Another game at this year’s SAGE is also expected to join that elite group, and that’s Sonic Robo Blast 2.
