World’s Biggest Sprite Comic Planned for SoS

One quirky item is expected to show up at this year’s Summer of Sonic convention in London on August 29th.

Sonic Wrecks, run by Sega employee and Blognik maintainer ArchangelUK, is also the home of regular sprite comics.  AAUK noted in his Sunday update that one special comic will make a big debut–both figuratively and literally:

I’ve just completed a special one frame comic which we’re going to replicate using Hama beads – thus creating THE BIGGEST SPRITE COMIC EVER! And where will you see this item revealed? Why at SoS 09! We’ve a Charmy tonne of work to do, hopefully we’ll have enough time and beads to carry out this task. But thats what SW will be bringing to the dance (as well as the stupid amount of work I’ll be doing ANYWAY).

There is sure to be many more surprises ahead regarding this year’s Summer of Sonic convention.  TSSZ News will be sure to keep you informed of all the latest developments and what to watch for if you’re going.  And if you can’t make it, our team of correspondents on the convention floor will make you feel like you’re right there.
