Zykov Eddy shows off Promising 3D Project
Out of Russia is this fully 3D Sonic fan game, simply titled Sonic the Hedgehog 3D. It’s available at SAGE, and on the front page of the booth, you’ll note a video we had back in late June.
Furthermore, Zykov has provided additional screenshots, and as was required for this expo, a demo of the game. You need OpenGL to play it, and there are three mirrors available for you to download. To get it, head to SAGE, click on “Booths,” and search for Sonic the Hedgehog 3D.
We have provided the four screenshots from the booth below. You’ll note that from them, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles are playable, and there appears to be a storyline. We’ll be taking a closer look at the Sonic the Hedgehog 3D demo here in the coming days as TSSZ’s SAGE 2009 coverage continues.

Cool A new 3D Sonic Game? I want to play when it releases, if its a real game, I hope it is.

Wow, looks terrific! Is it a platformer? Also (and this is just judging from the screenies, don’t kill me please) it looks like the “levels” are to wide open and non-linear. But I’ll give it a go.
This isn’t about the game but… I think there should be a Sonic movie
