This week, subscribers to Archie Comics’s Sonic Universe series should be getting issue 7 in their mailboxes.

The issue kicks off the second half of the four part Mobius: 30 Years Later saga. According to the official description, this will mark the first real organization of the Future Freedom Fighters, as Sonic fights to reclaim his throne. Ian Flynn penned the script, with Tracy Yardley handling most art responsibilities.

Phillip, he’s 14. He’ll be 14 for the next 170 years in the Archie comic. He’s not affected by going 30 years into the future, at all.

Oh yeah, and the guys in the shadows are the D’Coolette kids. So obvious.

I have to confess I don’t liek shadow being evil in MXYL, just isnt the shadow i know. It’s strange how in the prime universe how shadow is a fairly down-to-earth kind-hearted person and in this alternate future he’s well….Quite frankly, an outright Psychopath
