S0L Drops Hint of More to Come
If you loved the official announcement of Ryo Hazuki’s addition to the Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing roster, you apparently haven’t seen anything yet.
More surprises–and perhaps more cryptic puzzles–are planned by Sega. This was at least hinted at by the NeoGAF forumer known as S0L, who is widely believed to be a member of Sumo Digital.
Ryo may scratch the surface, according to the forumer, who wrote on the board last week:
Wait till you see…. Nah, I’ll keep you waiting
When we ran our poll on the character our audience most wanted in ASR, it was Sonic’s nighttime alter-ego, the Werehog, that topped the list. I’m certain (no, praying) that it isn’t that abomination of a werewolf. They did say no more Sonic characters.

The big surprise is that it leaks out days in advance.
G, Joe, Sakura, Ristar, Vectorman, and Jacky better be the next characters.
I wouldn’t mind seeing the werehog – but a character from the days of old would probably make a more positive appearance in terms of appeal.
I’m just not so sure some of us want to see the werehog in action again.

Well technically the Werehog is Sonic, so if he was confirmed they wouldn’t actually be lying about extra Sonic characters.
Werehog would be awesome. He’s a great character, it’s just the gameplay that didn’t work in unleashed. But in this game there would be no problems like that!
It would be cool if Sonic drive as a werehog on all night stages! Hehe, that would be amazing!

What the hell?! Unleashed looks nice and all, but I HATE the idea of the Werehog. It may be interesting as a playable character in Unleashed, but there’s no way its appearing again, period. People actually LIKE Sonic’s Werehog form?
Even so, we’ve already got all Sonic characters in All-Stars Racing. And even if we had more, Sega wouldn’t be stupid enough to include the Werehog upon another legitimate character in the series. (Well, Sumo Digital, anyway. But not even Sega’s that stupid, either.)

It’s Sonic. And the Werehog is furry and cute!XD He’s cool, only that they destroyd him with the gameplay. I don’t know about the 360 how good it is or soo. But I actually ejoyed the Werehog stages in the PS2 version more than the glithy daytimes stages. They were too slow and Werehog wasn’t suppossed to be so fast, so it was ok for werehog….but I mean. NAH! DIMPS sucks at everything!
But I don’t really care about the characters. If I get my Shadow the Hedgehog! I’m happy!XD

Absolutely not, Werehog would be absolutely terrible to have. We need somebody more original, you know, the guy that originally had the stretchy arms in the first-freakin-place: RISTAR THE SHOOTING STAR.
If Sega put Ristar into this game, I will love them for.ev.er.
Oh yeah, and Segata Sanshiro and Kid Chameleon. Those two deserve the appearances as well. Heck, throw in Vectorman and the Comix-Zone guy.

And Mario would be good for the Wii version. Heck, throw in Link on Epona or Fox in a Landmaster while they’re at it. =3

A werewolf version of a hedgehog with stretchy arms isn’t original? If anything, it’s more consistent with the rest of the animals in the franchise.
I don’t hate the Werehog, but I kind of want SEGA to phase him out. If they put him in this game, fine… but I don’t want him in any major Sonic titles.
I hope Project Needlemouse will be good old classic Sonic with the characters from the first 3 games+ CD.
In my opinion classic Sonic is the true Sonic. Us older fans deserve to have him back if at least for awhile.

Yes, Chrissy–that was because the plushies cited were incorrectly cited to a Sonic franchise. They were actually from another Sega franchise, Puyo Pop. I haven’t played Puyo but did play Mean Bean Machine, and that’s where the confusion started.

Why did people vote for Werehog? He is just Sonic. An uglified version of Sonic. With stretchy arms and a passable impression of God of War gameplay. Sometimes I just think Sonic fans will buy a turd with Sonic’s name on it.
I only want Metal Sonic, Silver and maybe Vectorman
but METAL SONIC’s gotta be in there please!!! 
I’d say put more characters from some rare games in and make up the numbers that way. But so far that’s a very broad mention it could be anything…
