No Branded Gambling Games…Yet
The UK website Casino Online has updated and confirmed news we brought you a couple weeks ago–indeed, Sega has launched two gambling websites for Britain–SegaPoker.com and SegaCasino.com.
We can’t access the website due to country restrictions, but we can tell you that a variety of casino and table games are being offered. For the moment, they lack imagery of Sega characters and IP. However, the Casino Online report cites they will be coming soon, and note specific franchises such as Virtua Fighter, House of the Dead, and Phantasy Star.
The casino allows actual gambling, and a “play for fun” option. The latter doesn’t requite players to sign up for the service, according to the report. But as was previously noted, Sega is offering bonuses to go for the real thing. First time depositors can earn up to €400 in bonus money. A second deposit can yield up to €200.
