First Details on “True Colors” Inside
Just in case you couldn’t get enough of the Crush 40 releases this year, or last year’s True Blue release, Sega and Avex Trax are teaming up again to release another Sonic compilation this December.
It’s called True Colors: The Best of Sonic the Hedgehog Vol. 2, and the CD will be released on December 16th. We don’t have a track listing yet, but for reference, the first volume, True Blue, contains a wide array of Sonic tunes from past and present, from Sonic CD’s Sonic Boom to His World from the 2006 Sonic the Hedgehog. This new compilation may be no different.
For the moment, we only know that it will retail for around ¥2500 (or about $26,) and it will hit stores right in time for the Holidays. You can pre-order the CD, if you wish, via our sales affiliate CDJapan. Thanks to Jack Wallace of Sonic Paradise for sending the news tip in to us.

I’ve heard that this set includes character themes, but that’s all I know about it.
If it’s anything like the first CD I do hope they expand on a lot of remasterings this time around. “Live and Learn” and “What I’m Made Of…” got such a nice treatment in the remastering that I can’t even listen to the original versions anymore, but it’s such a shame that only those 2 got th benefit. Although the music from Sonic CD that was included here did get a nice treatment as well by having the songs be direct-to-digital rather then re-using the redbook audio like the original discs did. And I do have to wonder what’s in store for the bonus songs, if we do get some like we did in True Blue.
A New Venture got a really good remaster too. It sold me Rush Adventure, lol.

i can easily get the soundtrack by downloading the songs from the previous soundtracks and then i have it before it was relesed.
