Mostly Sonic Infused, with some New Tracks
If you thought Crush 40′s Super Sonic Songs, due out next month, would be a complete lock for an all-Sonic themed album, think again.
That’s not to say the album won’t skew Sonic–it still will, in an overwhelming majority. But the track list, released today via JunSenoue.com, notes a few deviations, including a couple unreleased songs.
Two of the 16 tracks planned–Fire Woman, and Is it You?–are never before heard songs making their debut on this album. The theme to Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, called Un-gravitify, will be a part of the album, but though our information suggests it’s new to release, the song was a part of a rare soundtrack to the game that is now out of print. It’s unclear whether this will be a Crush 40 cover, or something wildly original.
A few more well-known tunes that harken back to the Sonic scene, including His World, Knight of the Wind and Open Your Heart, will be remixed in this edition.
The asterisks in the complete track list below denote such remixes, while the double asterisks note the new tunes. Thanks to the many people–too many to note here–who sent this in via our News Tips system.
01. I Am… All Of Me*
02. His World*
03. Un-gravitify

06. Revvin’ Up
07. Into The Wind

16. Is It You**

Fire Woman sounds a lot like it’s going to be a theme song for Blaze! Cool beans!
Uh, Tristan, Un-gravitifiy is the theme song for Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity. It’s one of my favorite Sonic vocal theme tracks.
Prediction:
This album will be the sex.
@Trelus: If that’s the case (and it is), and if Tristan meant to have one asterisk, I’ll be interested on what the remix sounds like.
Also, am I to understand that I Am, His World, Knight Of The Wind and Open Your Heart each have their own remixes? Yet. NO. LIVE. AND. LEARN. REMIX!!!!!! That was the one thing that I was going to look forward the most.
But then again, it’s a cool song by itself anyway, so I guess I shouldn’t complain. n_n;
@BlitzChris: This album WILL be sex.
After, actually READING the article, I will confirm that Tristan hasn’t heard the theme from Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity. It’s a shame because it’s really cool.
Updated, and changed.
Funny thing is, I have the game sitting on my shelf, but I’ve still not had the chance to pop it into my Wii after…how many years now?
The song was released as part of a 2008 SR: ZG soundtrack. However, there is the possibility that this could be a cover of sorts, with alt vocals…in much the same way Crush 40 released their own rendition of Seven Rings in Hand. Dunno right now. I’ll keep tabs.

Seriously? ANOTHER remix of His World? 17 versions of the song aren’t enough? XD
@Unknownlight: know hey? I’ve got them all on my phone (well er, the three I know of – tell me the 17 was in sarcasm, right?)
Sounds way past cool – I really do dig Crush 40′s music, I Am all of me and What I’m made of were just cranium crumpling, brain blastingly awesome.
Is the Open Your heart remix going to be the one with Bentley Jones, do you think? Or a new remix all together?
Unknownlight : Not to me XD but I do wonder where is the E3 site version of His World is …
Uh, I do know that there was a remix of Un-Gravitify on Zero Gravity Tracks, but it was NOT by Crush 40. Perhaps you’re referring to a different soundtrack, though, that I have never heard of.
@BlitzChris @Soul Gage: This album IS sex.
You know, it’s news like this that make me wish Sonic albums were sold in my area.
“Fire Woman”? “Fire”… “Woman”… “Super Sonic Songs”… “Super Sonic”… “Sonic”… “Sonic Rush”… BLAZE! XD
And I’m totally pumped for the remixes, “Knight of the Wind” especially.
“Funny thing is, I have the game sitting on my shelf, but I’ve still not had the chance to pop it into my Wii after…how many years now?”
1… I think.
I would quite like to get this, I can’t resist Crush 40 remixes. It probably won’t be available in the UK though.
@graxer: It’s a little thing called the net, my friend XD.
That looks like its going to be a pretty nifty album
Too bad its not coming out in the uk T_T.
His World..and I am all of me are getting rremixes, this album will be made of win
@TailstheHedgehog: Unfortunately, no. However, only four have vocals. The other 13 are instrumentals. List here: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=His_World&oldid=285676677
Fire Woman? Do I sense a theme for Blaze?…
Hmm…what could Is It You be?
@Superfield: I’ve been wondering the same thing. Maybe if it was in game order we’d at least be able to figure out the game or character it was originally for.
Fire Woman, could, and I laugh while saying this, could be the Cult song of the same title from the album…wait for it….”Sonic Temple”.
Sorry to premeturely end the verbal masturbation from the Blaze fans!
@T-Bird: I…really really doubt that. What does Crush 40 have to do with Cult?
Since this is an album that is supposed to be about nothing but Crush 40, it’s pretty much a solid deal that Un-Gravitify is going to be a cover performance by Crush 40 themselves. Can’t wait to hear it.
As for the other songs on the list that mean new mixes, I’m pretty sure it means it’s going to get a remaster touch in the same manner as “Live and Learn” and “What I’m Made Of..” from the True Blue album, although I really hope they do something entirely new like add a guitar solo to “I Am…All of Me” because for some reason this song (along with Never Turn Back) are the only Sonic related Crush 40 songs to not feature a guitar solo, and strangely enough, they both appear in the same game. Go fig.
Oh yes, this will be my first CD bought in years. Must have a hard copy of this.
