The camera was a bastard, voice acting was horrible (tolerable in JP), tediousness of the hotdog challenges, poor frame rate, and no spin dash was an insult to me. (Sonic the HEDGEHOG <-- They curl up into balls, SEGA! Have you forgotten why he's a hedgehog???) lol. There were lots of other little things that detracted from the experience too, but I shalln't waste your time listing them :-] Yet believe me, despite all of it's many faults, I enjoyed it and played it loads. It's right up there with Uncharted, LBP and Fallout 3 on my play hours list. But why? I reckon it's just because I'm a Sonic fan, and that's what we do. There's folks who like Sonic when he had solid and fun gameplay back in the 2D days, and arguably the Sonic Adventure games too, and then there's the other fans (generally younger) who love his attitude, Shadow and Silver (uuurgh... :S) and above all, SPEEEEEEEEED!!!
