“Embarrassment”? “Insult to injury”? A handful of Sega games couldn’t stack up againt a bunch of heavily-marketed, community-driven titles (many of which are actually pretty damn good) in a popularity contest. There’s no shame to be had here, especially considering how said Sega games had enough percieved merit to be nominated in the first place.

Also, these “articles” piss me off. They always seem to be lined with a layer of snotty pretentiousness and asinine embellishments. It’s as if they’re all goddamned editorials.

@Steve: Well, someone here has made quite a bit of sense. Still, Unleashed did have some great music. Upbeat and catchy.

I have faith in Needlemouse. BUT… If SEGA dare add anything as ridiculous as a monster or a sword again, I will send them a big fat letter describing my disappointment. After so many mistakes, you would think they would learn, yes? Well… We have yet to see, and by god, they better have learned.

How is this surprising? Go anywhere on the internet, mention Sonic and somebody will yell, “Oh, nobody likes that gay shit of a series and anybody who does is a whiny fanboy who’d better sprout balls and get on with their lives. Who the fuck would wanna be that? ”

And you’ll be lucky to get it in that tone of voice…

Honestly, unless you’re a Sonic fan in one section of the fanbase, everybody wants this series to die (because apparently we’re the only games less than brilliant on the market). No wonder nobody but a handful would even be voting for the Sonic series to win anything.

We’re the most hated people on the internet no matter our actions or our individual personalities, because Sonic the Hedgehog was never good in the first place. And if it was, nobody outside us even cares, because everything after 1994 apparently was complete bollocks that just made everybody vomit repeatedly.

I keep wondering who I have to shoot to make people happy, but in the end I just shot Sonic anyway, because if that’s what people want, then I’ll give it to them.

This is one of the reasons that one of the few places I’m happy at is the Summer of Sonic every year.

SONIC UNLHEASHED should have won, but as U see this is all combined everything isa arranjed for some companys survive like those with CoD4, oh well since SEGA is the best that are trying to kill SEGA, BUT SEGA IS STRONG!!! They will make games just like SONIC UNLEASHED and better than SU…. you’ll see SEGA SIMPLY RULES hehe
