Its not THAAT bad! I mean, it surely does not shine as a game of the year lol. But its a nice game indeed. better than most minigame fests out there. But still even with the adventure tours I feel wii version is better since, well its an awesome game to play with friends with a lot of stuff to buy and customizable gear, plus hearing classic music on events, plus character outfits for your mii! adventure tours is great but once you finish it, you dont wana do it again =P

@Pur: Sounds exactly like a press conference they would have.

Needless to say, I am not surprised. This game was going to suck. It was bound to suck.

@Liam: Oh, please. You know that it took them months of thinking to get that story;

Developer 1: Huh, we have a story about snow. What should we do?
Developer 2: Bowser tried to melt the snow in Mario is Missing. Maybe we should do that, but with Snow Spirits instaed of hairdryers.
Developer 1: And with more Eggman, and Winter game references?
Developer 2: Yep.
Developer 1: I like it.
Developer 2. Yay, let's do it.

I thought the story was quite laughable, trying to get snow back. The person who came up with that definatly needs a cookie

Ooh, you're going get some backlash from Sonic fans, aren't you? XD

I actually completely agree with the sentiments on the Adventure Tours. As much as it should be nice to get a story and all, it was just so formulaic that it didn't make up for the fact it got repetitive and tedious after a while (although there was some funny dialogue scattered about, I must admit). By the time you get to Blizland, I was just hurriedly trying to get the trivia, get the Whitestones, go to the boss and unlock all the characters...which you can't do until you've completed 15-20 challenges set to you AFTER you beat the boss and then beat the boss for a second time. In these regards, the Festival Mode on the Wii may not have been a full-fledged story, but it felt like it had a lot more substance to it, namely because it cuts out the unnecessary bits.

I didn't fare too badly with the controls (I'm quite used to having giving precise controls to get close to where I want from Sonic Chronicles :P), although the goals were certainly easy, sometimes ridiculously so (get a skill, for example).

Overall, I liked it quite a lot, but not as much as the Wii version...which most people would say is strange, but hey, I like unlockables and non-tediousness.
