Here’s something to add to your Holiday displays full of reindeer and blinking lights–a giant inflatable replica of Sonic the Hedgehog. Sure, it may scare the crap out of those decorations (or your neighbors,) but they’ll know what side of gaming you stand for.
It’s on EBay, and you can begin bidding for it with a starting price of $500. You can also “Buy it Now” for $795. That’s a pretty good deal, when you consider the seller, who identifies himself as just “Tom,” claims the prop once went for $6900.
If you win it, you’ll get the blow-up doll, a carrying case, tie-down materials, and an air pump. There is one catch, though–you have to live close to Chicago. Apparently, shippers can’t ship it to anywhere in the world. “It’s too big,” Tom says. So, if you win the auction, you better get the car or plane tickets ready, because he’ll want you to pick it up at his home–unless you have a trucking company go there for you.
It can’t be that creepy, though–after all, Tom does have a 100% positive feedback rating.
