I already began the process of removing my site http://www.rkdezignz.com/ since my new one is already published.

As for the social networks, I’m keeping twitter and facebook. It just wouldn’t be fair to my friends to just simply vanish. My new site will give me the creative outlet of writing articles/reviews, producing videos, and churning out artwork under a new alias.

@ Kitty Nakajima – I couldn’t have said it better myself, however I doubt Kuta will ever acknowledge it.

@ AKR – When you “close” down your official site, are you also going to close your other social networking sites? After all, those are just loose strings that lead back to you. (At least under your current screen names ThunderPeel, AKR, and Sonmanic)

@ Megadrivesonic – Unless you repeat Kuta’s mistakes, trolls won’t even notice you.

@ Kuta – Do I have to also point out that a lot of this could have been avoided if you had kept your plans incognito? It should be common sense that announcing plans like “I’m makin’ a fan movie but I’m trying to make it official for REALZ” was going to cause some drama from the get go. You had to learn it the hard way, and in a way while you seem to have learned from it you still don’t acknowledge that it was the very fact that you blabbed to any forum/ anyone that would lend you an ear to this nonsense.

And no, the next person who does a fan film/project won’t get attacked if they spend more time working on their project instead of promoting it before they made any progress in the groundwork needed to complete it. There’s a big, big difference between promoting something while near completion or, as you’ve done, supposedly still shopping around to get it into production. While you had character sheets and storyboards it still doesn’t help that not much was animated for the actual movie beyond that trailer.

@IceHedge: Thanks! I really hope the efforts of my friends and I will produce something of quality. Right now, I’d rate Subspace at a 1 out of 10. It’s very generic and lacks content. The one redeeming aspect is the Hedgehog On-Air channel, and that on its own can go many directions as well. Otherwise, I’d give the beta a zero . The final site won’t be on Wikispaces (thankfully), but will be web hosted. Unless I can find a talented PHP coder, I’ll have to go with Joomla for the final release of version one of Subspace.

The final goal? A site that will provide fans with the “pro” feel of TSS with an emphasis on fan creations.

Yeah, that’s a “very” extreme goal, especially when it took TSS 8 years to achieve their current status. At any rate, I hope for Subspace to at least achieve an above-average quality before I leave for a two year commitment in my personal life. Right now, I just need more people. Three people, though each very talented, isn’t enough to bolster the site, let alone keep it going. I’ll need a good 10 people for the final release, and optimally 20-30, including moderators for the forums, for the site to run at its best.
