First ASR Screenshots for Nintendo DS

Continuing our incredible look inside the recent ASR playtest in France–and with help from our friend Fox Gungrave at Eversonic–we can show you for the first time screenshots from the DS edition of Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing.

As noted in the Q&A, the tracks will be significantly altered for the portable edition, and that is reflected in the five shots below.  But also reflected is how Sumo Digital is still attempting to keep the spirit of the tracks consistent throughout all platforms–you can see elements Seaside Hill, Curien Mansion, and others quite easily.  You’ll also get a look at how the character models–and their cars–will look at the Nintendo DS.

Have a look below, and give us your thoughts in the comments section.  Tomorrow morning on TSSZ News, we have a special Thanksgiving treat–some character art was released as a part of the powwow.  Some of it’s old, some of it’s new.  But all of it’s clean, and most of it is in incredibly high resolution.  Be sure to come back tomorrow morning for those, but if you just can’t wait, Eversonic has what we’re talking about now as part of their ASR feature from the playtest.
