@ Superfield: Actually, if you read Lycett’s developer diary it explains why he is in a car. I’ll tell you why. According to the diary, they started out with Sonic running, Guilius on a Chicken Leg monster, Amy in a car, Tails in a plane and Eggman in the egg pod. “This version was not fun.” to play said Lycett. So that is why they put Sonic in a kart.

I WANT TO KNOW WHO CRAIG DUNCAN’S FAVORITE SONIC TEAM CHARACTER IS!!!!

Let’s see… haven’t we already gotten that response for why the crap Sonic’s in a car? Twice? What Sonic fans want is an explanation for why he’s in a car in terms of the story, not in terms of the gameplay. We don’t care about the game engine allowing it or not; we want a reason why Sonic just doesn’t say, “You know, I can run ten times faster than this car can go. Why not just run for it?”

Long story short: You haven’t answered the question we’ve actually asked, and repeating that answer isn’t going to fix it.

DEMO! THAT’S AWESOME! I hope they realease the demo before the game itself.X) So I can try it a bit earlier.XD
I really like demos, you can download a demo and try the game and se if it’s worth buying. Anyway, I agree with qwerty.

I am kinda sick of being told why Sonic is in a car; it seems so incredibly obvious to me. Those who still do not understand why Sonic is in a car should be ignored or directed to TSSZ’s articles on the subject, as they are either alliterate (and their wilful ignorance should not be encouraged) or trolls (and replying would be ‘feeding them’) or have just been introduced to the game (and should easily be able to find the answer to this provided they give a damn about finding out—a quick search in their favourite search engine will almost certainly yield the results).

I think that the demo will be nice; one can test the water, so to speak, and make sure that the game is as good as it looks.
