Bentley Jones’s So Much More to be ASR Theme, EP

It’s been well assumed for some time that Bentley Jones’s latest theme, So Much More, would be a part of the upcoming Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing.

Over the weekend, Jones, known also as Lee Brotherton, clarified the tune’s role: it will be the main theme for the game, heard in end credits and the like.  But it won’t stop there: The song will be released as part of an EP on January 19th under his new label, Remix Factory Label.  That announcement was a part of the big news over the weekend over at his blog.  You’ll be able to grab it online at iTunes, other digital download outlets, and his own website’s store, which remains a work in progress.

But it doesn’t stop there: A contest has been announced, and it will start the same day the EP drops.  It involves your participation, and you can win an array of prizes, including a shot to be in the official music video for So Much More.  In Bentley’s words:

I want YOU guys to star in my video. (@______@!!) That’s right. Flex your creative muscles by lip-synching, air-guitaring, dancing, animating – performing in ANY way you want to. The best entries will win some pretty impressive (and might I add RARE) prizes I’ve managed to lay my hands on aaaaaaaaaand be compiled into the official music video along with myself and a few surprise guests…. Though all of this is significant, this does not appear to be the planned news Sega has in store for this coming week related to ASR.  We’re not quite sure when that will pop up, but we’ll be sure to keep on top of things.  We thank all of our readers who sent this in via our News Tips system–too many to list here.
