I uploaded it as a fake IGN article using a free geocities page. I only ever showed it to my brother who is also a big Dreamcast/Sega fan. I guess I forgot to take down the page and the image has been floating around even after the free account expired. I stumbled onto this hoaxbuster article after noticing my prank picture in the youtube video mentioned above. I did an image search for "Dreamcast 2" and this article popped up so I felt I should tell the story so nobody else gets their hopes up or thinks Sega canceled a nearly finished console. I can provide the source pictures and photoshop files as well as the April fools website html if anyone needs to see the evidence that it was indeed a prank.
