Not Bad for Only being on Market 7 Months
With a little clarification, research, and thanks to ThE iNfOrMeR for sending in the news tip, we can better cement the standing of the original Sonic for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch.
While EA’s The Sims 3 hit #1, Sonic appears to be comfortably in the #12 spot. Seeing as the app was released late in May, that’s not bad for a whole year average. It’s certainly incentive for Sega to keep re-releasing the classics onto the mobile platform, too–even if they are just ROMs.

Very good.
We gotta get to the computer room!
Pretty good, considering that this game competes with over 21179 games in Apple’s App store. But that’s not it–there’s also that emulator–Genesis4iPhone. I think if Sega released a port of Sonic Adventure 2, they’d really be rolling in the dough!
