Another Multi-Arc, Another Tie-In
Archie Comics also today released a preview of its side Sonic comic, Sonic Universe.
Set for release in mid-March, the issue will be a tie-in to Sonic #211, and it will be the second part of the continuing Journey Into the East saga. It will also be filled with ninjas, if the preview today is any indication. Ian Flynn penned the script, and Tracy Yardley handled primary art duties.
Sonic Universe #14 will ship starting March 10th. Non-subscribers can expect to see it March 17th in comic book stores, and on other newsstands March 30th. The cover for issue 14 follows Archie’s official synopsis.
“Journey into the East Part Two: High Price for Rich Nights”: Having endured a fierce battle with the Spider Ninjas last issue, Sonic and his friends must now face Bat Ninjas! While ambushes threaten around every corner, the intrepid heroes proceed on their journey to the temple under the firm resolves of Sally and Monkey Khan. Are these deadly skirmishes any match for the political chess games and machinations of war that lurk beneath the surface? The big picture gets even bigger in this issue that ties into this month’s SONIC THE HEDGEHOG #211.
