UPDATE: Drive Extended to Dec 27
UPDATE: TIME EXTENSION! Your time has been extended!
Since the ChipIn! widget had somehow expired this morning without my knowledge, I’ve had to make a new one. So far, $197.70 has been raised–$187.03 under the old terms, and $10.67 under the new terms. That equates to a 3 day ban.
Because of the unexpected expiration, it’s been decided to extend the fund drive to December 27th. This should hopefully accommodate those who were anticipating getting money over the Xmas holiday and couldn’t donate until then. The $20 / day level is in effect the entire time.
If you don’t think even a dollar helps…I can report someone donated 67 cents overnight. Any and all levels of donations help!

We’re in the final day of our fundraiser for Child’s Play. So far, the community has raised a little over $187 for the cause. That’s pretty good for the Sonic community.
But I want to do better.
So, consider this BREAKING NEWS ALERT DEVELOPING FIRST @ TSSZ: For today, the final day of the fundraiser, the ban hammers will rain down hard. That’s because on top of what’s been donated, every $20 donated will add a day to Tristan’s ban at Sonic Retro. Currently, the ban stands at about 2 and a half days.
That’s right…it’s a Ban Hammer $ale of the ¢entury!!
But what if I already donated, you ask? Well, we thought about that, and we’d like to set an informal goal in this last day. If the final tally for this fund drive hits $500, we’ll re-apply the current total to the current ban hammer level. Doing so will add an additional 7 days to Tristan’s Sonic Retro ban. That’s on top of the 18 or so days that comes with the $500 level.
Get it done, world. Click the ChipIn! widget to the right, to donate with PayPal or a credit/debit card you own. We want to be a driving force in helping Child’s Play eclipse its goal from last year, and it’s not quite there yet. Your donation is tax deductible. Further, it will deduct brain cells from Tristan’s head when those hammers hit his face.

Oh, how I’d love it to be able to donate. Oh, how I’d love it if I actually cared about Tristan being banned or not. Oh, how I’d love it if I actually had some money to spare during Christmas.

$20 for one day still seems mighty expensive, you must be mighty full of yourself to think your worth that much.

Well, I don’t see the fun thing with gettin’ Tristan banned. I seriosly don’t. The only thing I see something good with is that it’s donated to Child’s Play. =)
I don’t get it. I know this is for a good cause to help children. I respect that. Why do want to ban urself?

I’d say Sonic Stadium had something to do with it (getting onto Roarz immature ass), but as this is pertaining to Retro instead of Stadium, I have no clue.
Perhaps this would fare better if the consequences for you were a tad more strenuent. Like, lets say weeks and not days.
