What to Expect in April’s Journey to the East
Archie Comics has released first details on Sonic Universe issue 15, which will begin shipping this April.
The issue is the third in a four part series dubbed Journey to the East. Sonic and Tails will be pitted against Fiona and the rogue group Destructix. Ian Flynn penned the script, Tracy Yardley handled pencils and some cover duties, with Jim Amash on ink duty.
Issue 15 will begin shipping to subscribers in April. In the meantime, following Archie’s official synopsis, you can have a look at the cover. Note the discrepancy in price between cover art and description–one says it will sell for $2.99, and another keeps it at $2.50.
“No Love in a Conquering Storm”: The epic “Journey to the East” story arc continues! Sonic and Tails must confront Fiona and the Destructix – but whose side are these rogue mercenaries really on? The action heats up in an all-out assault on the Raiju Clan of Lynx Ninja and the return of a character pivotal to Sonic’s success!

Notice something else. “40 lb glossy stock”. Could the quality of the paper in the comic be rising? And if so, that would explain the price hike.
