Claim that Next Month will be “A Very Good Month”

As was the case with the first piece of concept art released for Project Needlemouse, the art you see here of Motobug isn’t new–it’s in fact from late May.

That’s not the big news that comes from research of Sonic Stadium forumer Dusk the Fragile Keeper.  As it turns out, he claims there’s another little tidbit in there–a very exciting one.

His find not only indicates the Motobug concept was created on May 21, it shows someone at Sega left a very clever tease within the image info.  In short–look out for a very big month for the next Sonic once January becomes February:

The fact that you’re actually looking in the comments section of this image speaks volumes – and that’s a good thing. So here’s an extra crumb for you to follow: February is going to be a very good month.

And it appears, if this last community challenge goes off without a hitch, that month’s going to kick off right out of the gates Monday.  We will be here to cover anything that happens from the contest reveal.
