Explains the Philosophy Behind IP Treatment
This comes to us via a news tip from Bluecelights180, who originally thought this may be what was released to Inside XBOX this week. It isn’t; we’re still looking out for that. But the video below is just as good.
It’s a Q&A German website Sega Portal had with Sumo Digital’s Craig Duncan, who appears to be making the rounds again for questions.
For the most part, you can disregard the German subtitles, as Duncan answers his questions in English. There isn’t a whole lot of new footage per se, but Duncan does go into some detail the challenges Sumo had in the co-existence of several Sega IPs into one game, talking about the idea of treating each of them with, in his words, “respect.”
You can have a look at the video below. It may not be the XBOX360 specific Q&A, but we give thanks to Bluecelights180 all the same for tipping us off to it. If you have news to share, be sure to share it with us by clicking News Tips at the top of every page. And if you’re wondering what “Interview Teil 1″ means–it means this is the first in a series, so we’ll be sure to hook you up with subsequent segments as Sega Portal makes them available.

So there’s still tracks and worlds they haven’t announced yet? Interesting.
So this game has more of sega worlds and tracks that haven’t been revealed yet.
The interview was done way before they were allowed to mention more stuff. Happens all the time, but this is probably something that occurred mid-January when they were not allowed to reveal anything yet. We know everything (except DLC).
