A Look at Whale Lagoon, Inside
On Friday, Sega of America invited fans and press alike to see the latest build of Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing.
GameZone managed to get a video feed in from one of the tracks you may not have seen in action before: Whale Lagoon from Seaside Hill. It was one of the courses on display at SoA’s community event, and it appears shorter than some of the other courses in the fold, and aside from the figure 8 in the beginning, appears pretty straightforward.
We should note that this is from the XBOX360 edition. Also noteworthy is how there was some chatter concerning whether a more complete copy of the game was sent to SoA, in time for this event. This had been talked up in response to recent rumblings about the game’s framerate concerns.
It’s hard to notice a difference since this is a direct feed, but we’ll let your eyes be the judge, as you have a look at this run of Tails in Whale Lagoon below.

You can’t tell in this video. Video is rarely a suitable way to judge framerates.
