You Saw One in German…Might as Well See One in French
We continue on our impromptu road through Europe with new screenshots and a video review of Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing–all framing the case for another pretty good score.
The video, from Jeux Video Network, isn’t quite as pretty as what Germany’s Gamepro division offered up, but you’ll see even more of the courses you’ll shortly be racing on, as well as a good look at four player action (framerate worrywarts, be very afraid), and the winners’ podium. Further, you’ll get a clean look at the cost to unlock most of the secret characters in the game.
But yes, the Mario Kart comparisons appear to break the language barrier. In all, JVN gave ASR a 16/20 score, which boils down to an 80% ranking–enough for the JVN crew to recommend a purchase.
But that’s not all. In addition to the video review, JVN offered up 24 screenshots from the game. And unlike the video, where you have to visit the site to view, the screenies are a bit more accessible. Be warned–some are a little more psychedelic than others. You’ll find them below. And if you know the language, you can always pick apart JVN’s written review, which is also a part of the link above.

Knuckles looks a bit creepy in the 5th screenshot. . .
Another great review.
