A Good Look at Everything–Including a Battle Arena–Inside
The German edition of Gamepro keeps on delivering. In addition to their written review and accompanying screenshots, the staff has put together a nearly 7 minute video review of Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing.
If you speak or know German, you’ll get some description and detail to go along with the pretty pictures below. But even if you haven’t a clue, you’ll see a very beautiful look at many of the game’s courses, including areas from The House of th…er, Curien Mansion, Samba de Amigo, Jet Set Radio Future, and Super Monkey Ball. There’s also a more detailed look at the Sega Miles shopping system, and a peek at one of the battle stages, which is within the Treetops area from SMB.
This is the XBOX360 edition, and it looks gorgeous. There doesn’t appear to be any of framerate issues, except perhaps in the multiplayer portions, which are also shown in the video. Take a look and judge for yourself below.

Waay past cool! Now that`s what I call a review!
Something’s wrong here. Go to the 5:42 mark of this video. B.D. Joe yells out “All right!” but it’s clearly Axel’s voice! It’s one of his phrases along with his “Yeah yeah, I got it” attitude whenever he speaks back to the customer. This has to be fixed.
and the Gold medal goes to……. S&SASR!!!
the second place goes to Crash Bandicoot racing game on the ps1 and third place goes to mario kart, even though if you consider mario better than Crash, that doesn’t matter, is Sonic&Sega the gold medallists, S&SASR is the best racing game ever followed by Sonic R (or maybe Sonic R first, we’ll see)

I understan most of it since I can speak a little bit german…but I have to say that I think german is a pretty funny language. XD Not to learn it, but to hear it. Bad words in german is often very funny.XD

Looks amazing! I heard the word “langweilig” which if I remember correctly means “boring”. Does anyone know whether they were talking about an element of this game, or about another Kart Racer.

When the reviewer mention it being boring, i think that he’s talking about people who will say that it’s boring cause it’s just Mario Kart. Afterwards he talks about how cool it is!
I want this game SO bad! I asked for a preorder for my birthday, and got a frying pan instead… Meh…

Crash team racing always was better than any mariokart game since i t actually tried to explain why the characters were racing. Something the mariokart series still hasn’t done.
