Scans of Nintendo Power ASR Review

Tristan Oliver | February 22, 2010

“Isn’t Quite the Fan Paradise It Could Have Been”

Updating a story we brought you earlier this month, below you’ll find scans of the Nintendo Power reviews of Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing–both the Wii and DS versions.

As we reported, the magazine gave the Wii edition an eight out of 10, and the DS edition a six out of 10.

Among some of the review excerpts from the Wii edition are some nitpicks on track structure amid the House of the Dead and Final Fortress tracks, praise for the game’s powerslide mechanics, and this overall assessment that ASR is good, but not quite great:

All in all, Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing isn’t quite the fan paradise it could have been, but it’s a very good racer that makes great use of classic Sega franchises.

You can read that and the DS review in the scans, as part of the gallery below.
