More Concept Art Released, and More on Deck
Chopper will join an array of other classic Sonic badniks to make an appearance in Sonic the Hedgehog: Episode 1.
The mechanical piranha joins an array of enemies, mostly from Sonic 1, that are part of Eggman’s revived arsenal for the episodic game.
But that’s not all: Today Sega revealed concept art for Buzzer, and leaked video indicates that will officially be coming back as well. (Thanks to our readers and commenters for the clarification.)
Perhaps the news of most anticipation is the array of countdown clocks now ticking toward next Thursday on the site. We’re talking more than just badniks here–another portion of the multimedia section will open, as will something else mysterious on the main page.
So, next Thursday could be an exciting one for Sonic fans. We’ll be here to cover it for you, but in the meantime, check out the designs of Chopper and Buzzbomber below in our gallery.

It’s Buzzer from Sonic 2, not Buzz Bomber. Buzz Bomber did not have jets.
I wish they’d bring back those blue ant-looking rolly badniks from Palmtree Panic. I liked them haha.

Also all this recycled Badnicks are starting to loose momentum. Sure it was great at first but come on. Their prescence in the game does not make the game good, but rather physics and gameplay.are what is going to define it. Also I whish the game graphically could try to match the art of Sonic CD. I want my surreal worlds back!
okay, thats good they should add some badniks from chaotix or cd.
