New Video: A Sonic: The Gizoid Progress Report

“Coming Along Well,” Says Creator

Below, we have the latest progress report trailer from AntonHuckleberry’s Sonic: The Gizoid.

The game was shown in demo form at last year’s SAGE, and since then it’s been coming along quite nicely.  AntonHuckleberry says there will be a quick break from game development, though, due to university work.

But judging from the nearly four and a half minute video below, we’re not that far off from a final product.  You’ll see gameplay footage from areas such as Blind Flake, Oil Plant, Air Fleet, Fresh Hill, and more.  It appears there will be quite a variety of areas to play in as you assume the traits of many characters from the Sonic universe in this game.

Check it out in the new video below.  We’ll continue to follow developments on Sonic: The Gizoid, which will hopefully include a return appearance to SAGE 2010.

Hmmm…this looks like it will be worth watching. I enjoyed the last demo, and this now looks to offer a whole lot more then that demo originally promised.

    Multiple characters, multiple Super forms.

Lots of stages (although they seem more Dimps/Speed oriented)

    Some neat features and effects.

Although I must point out, a Super form is supposed to usually be the inverse color from what I understand. Wouldn’t that make Espio green?
