Hide & Seek & Destroy…and Look, Inside
On May 1st, comic publishers and lovers old and new around the country will participate in Free Comic Book Day.
Archie Comics is among those publishers who participate, and this year they have a new Sonic adventure to share for the day. Eggman vanishes, but Sonic remains threatened by a relic from the past. It’s a mystery, written by Ian Flynn, with artist duties shared by James Fry and Jim Amash. Tracy Yardley assumes the cover.
We have the official synopsis below. From there you can check out the cover and the first six pages. No guilt trip’s needed–remember, this one’s on the house come May 1st.
“Hide & Seek & DESTROY!”: Dr. Eggman has vanished – or has he? As Sonic searches for clues, he stumbles across an old weapon from the bygone days of his childhood. Will Dr. Eggman allow Sonic to be destroyed by this threat from yesteryear? Will Sonic discover the truth behind his old rival’s disappearance? All the answers lie in this free issue!

I’m guessing…the Kudzu.
Last page of the preview has a strange green vine…is that…”Krudzu”? O___O
Well, I wasn’t expecting that to make a reappearance. Sorta makes sense, considering last year’s Free Comic Book Day issue was a reprint of issue #1 with a new Yardley cover.
Krudzu!!! Well, maybe. . .
Only one way to find out.
Illegal download!!!
just kidding! I’ll get it in the most legal way possible.
who the hell is Krudzu?
The art-style of this is all over the place really ugly.
Eggfang : I agree the especially the hands their the most crappiest things in the whole comic
God, I love this guy’s style. Like an edgier Yardley.
“See, this is why I prefer working with machines. No pesky demands like ‘food’ and ‘breathing’” A glimpse of a Conservative/Labour government, (British) ladies and gentleman!
