Sonic 4: Inside Splash Hill

Music and More as a part of Today’s Release

Today’s major release of new information on the Sonic 4 website revolves centrally around the game’s first stage, Splash Hill Zone.

Even the website design now resembles the tropical paradise Sonic will first encounter–a perfect way to open up the zones section.

Within that area, you’ll see the first official description of Splash Hill, with the added promise that video is coming:

A beautiful coastal area filled with rolling hills and an everlasting feeling of summer, Splash Hill Zone is the embodiment of an adventurous paradise. As Sonic races through the smooth slopes and crisp rivers, he will also witness a spectacular sunset view from the top of the hills.

In addition, Sega released for download the music for Act 1 of Splash Hill, which we have in streaming form at the end of this article.

Given the recent rash of leaks, hoaxes posing as leaks, written accounts, and other unauthorized material, an official weekly update like this will hopefully set the standard for the future, with it becoming the rule and not the exception.  That is to be determined, and we’re here following along with you with each passing week, hoping to know more.
