Inside, a Peek at one of the 1st Prize Winners
Today, Bentley Jones announced via YouTube the winners of his So Much More music video contest. The results were relayed on the Sonic City Blognik.
In all, five 2nd prize and five 1st prize winners were chosen. In second place were Daniele Narducci, BlazeCat7tm, SuperSonic, ASSC Studios, and The Doodlibop. Taking home first place are Darkspeeds, Matthew Pieper, Klayton Schaufler, DeviantARTist SEGAMew, and Dexter. Taking home an honorable mention and “a special prize” for having the courage to flail his arms around like a madman to the track–among other humorous self-deprecation–is Lewis Clark, known as Sonic Yoda. Winners should expect their prizes shortly.
For fans of the artist, the announcement wasn’t for naught. Bentley Jones announced he’s working on a new project, and he’ll announce details of it next month.
Below, we feature one of the winners. Matthew Pieper’s entry creatively used live action and stop motion animation to bring Sonic characters to life in more ways than one. From singing to dancing and Eggman cutting it loose, there’s tons of creativity oozing out of this piece. Check it out in the video below.
