5 Year Management Veteran Leaves
Markus Lorenz Wiedemann, the Sega Germany managing director who included the publication of Shadow the Hedgehog among his proudest achievements, has left the company, TSSZ News has learned.
Thanks to a News Tip from Thomas of Sega Portal, we’ve learned of Wiedemann’s sudden and unexpected departure. He had been with Sega Germany since the division’s formal reopening in 2005. Just two weeks ago, he conducted the aforementioned interview with that German website.
“Mark was a valued member of the senior management team of Sega Europe and we wish him the best for the future,” read a statement, in part, from the division.
The circumstances surrounding Wiedemann’s departure are unclear. It does not appear, however, that he fell victim to the recent round of layoffs within Sega.

It would be nice to see Sonic Team teaming up with Sierra (I think) to make a SONIC and CRASH super adventure game hihi
Oh well… SONIC4 will be the new best and next I hope to see a Unleashed Sonic type game ( 3d ) coming out byt Sonic Team

Honestly, I’m kinda feeling Mortal Kombat and Sonic.
No (real) offense to Phillip but I think we know what his age is. It’s not higher then 15. But seriously, if anyone who considers Shadow to be an achievement then they don’t need to work at Sega.
Sonic Unleashed : I will kill someone if Crash even appears in the same game with Sonic I`d rather see more Sonic & Mario as well an 3way crossover starring Pac Man , Sonic & Mario since Namco,Sega, & Nintendo created that “Triforce” system

To be fair, that’s a broad generalization so we can tell what age that person might be. Kids would obviously say stuff like that. We all did when we were that little.
And I was being nice instead of calling them an idiot. Plus, the no Capitalization or Punctuation is common to younger people on the internet. I know. I have two nephews 15 and under. (one is 5 but still the other is 15)
