Including a Free Edition of Mobile Rhythm Tap
Before Ivy the Kiwi? hatched looking for her mother, Yuji Naka and his Prope development studio concocted Let’s Tap, a series of mini-games that utilized vibration as a control mechanism. The game didn’t make its mark on the sales charts, but for those who have an Apple iPhone or iPod Touch and haven’t yet experienced the games for themselves, there’s good news–you can now buy them all at deep discounts.
The price drop happened quietly, and months after the mobile edition of games such as Rhythm Tap, Tap Runner, and Silent Blocks first went on sale in the App store. They’re now all at 99¢ a piece–a far cry from the previous prices which topped $3.99 in some cases. If that’s not enough, a free edition of Rhythm Tap is available for you to try out before purchasing the fuller version.
The price cuts aren’t exclusive to domestic shores, either. According to Japanese website AppBank, the games’ prices were cut in half in Japan. They’ll now cost just ¥115 for consumers there, as opposed to the original ¥230 price points.
For those curious how to play the mini-games via the mobile device, head to our first story on the Let’s Tap mobile games from last September, which includes an instructional video direct from Prope.

My impression of the Free Rhytmn Tap edition, its fun, but it hurts your finger! XD
Then again, I only played in Free style mode so far, I should probably try a different control option than that!
