No Artists There, But You’ll Get Free Comic Books
Confirming what we reported the first of the year, the team behind the 2010 Summer of Sonic convention in London has courted Archie Comics talent to attend the show. According to an update posted on the SOS website, no one can make it, but the alternate plan sounds just as good.
“We’re delighted to announce that the wonderful folks there were as keen to get involved in this year’s Summer of Sonic shenanigans as we were with them,” co-organizer Kevin Eva wrote, who then explained copies of both the 2008 and 2010 Sonic comic will be handed out to attendees. That doesn’t sound like a lot, but for many European Sonic fans, it will be a first or second glimpse inside the inner workings of the domestic series.
Still, there will be a more direct comic book presence at SOS via the return appearance of Nigel Dobbyn, who worked on the Fleetway series.
