You’ll Need Some Savings to Purchase This Repository
From time to time, we look at the unique Sonic fare up for sale at the world’s marketplace, EBay. Recently offered from a New York seller, we have what you see above and in our gallery below–a Sonic piggy bank.
It’s not some knock-off, though: The eight inch accessory is authentic, first mass produced in Korea around 1991, and at the time was only available in Japan via catalog shopping. How many remain in circulation are unknown, but the seller touts it as “very rare.”
If you’re interested in buying this bank of blue, you’ll likely need to break another bank. The seller is asking for $200 plus shipping costs. So for most, you’ll have to examine the memorabilia in pictures alone, via the gallery below.

Have it.
Wow! I can tell it’s the Japanese Sonic! I like it, but ain’t got that kinda money to spend on a bank. Dang. Well, hopefully somebody else will enjoy it!
