What’s that Planet on the World Map, Then?
Remember last month when we showed you the world map overview from Sonic Colors and a “planet” that looked suspiciously like Metal Sonic was clearly visible?
It apparently has nothing to do with Sonic’s longtime metallic foe, and he won’t be making an appearance in-game, according to an overlooked preview from Australia’s PALGN.
The directly inquired Takashi Iizuka about the similarity, but it appears to simply be a coincidence. A new foe for Sonic to fight may instead be on the horizon:
We noticed during our demo that one of these planets looked suspiciously like the head of Metal Sonic, so naturally we asked the question. Is Metal Sonic in the game? Izuka was coy, saying that Metal Sonic will not be in Sonic Colors, but something else, possibly new, is.
If it’s not Metal Sonic, who or what could it be? Longtime fans haven’t exactly been thrilled enduring final encounters with beings other than Eggman in recent 3D Sonic games, and this may give some another reason to be suspect of Sonic Colors despite positive reception to the gameplay. New information will follow in the coming weeks and months, so stay with TSSZ News for the latest information.

The planet has green eyes and Metal Sonic has red eyes. It could be a ‘Sonic hubworld.’ Or maybe he was just being technical and it’s Mecha Sonic from Sonic 3 & Knuckles, not Metal Sonic from CD.
Just saw it again. It looks kinda like Metal Sonic, but it’s obscure enough not to be (just).

If it isn’t Metal Sonic. Then it might be Silver Sonic from Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I don’t know for sure until the game is released.

Will Sega will make Sonic and Amy as couple in cutscenes of Sonic Colors and new Sonic games in the future? I like to see Sonic makes his admit to love Amy even more than run away from her since Sonic CD. I want them go out on a date together in this game maybe at end of Sonic Colors. So Guys, Do you want Sonic and Amy going be together forever. Maybe in final Sonic game, they will get married after defeated Eggman for last time. Do you like my ideas guys?

I think Amy will still continue to chase Sonic, but many can hope. I hope Shadow and Rouge become a couple as well.

Your comment made me laugh. I sort of agree with you, I don’t really want them to date persay, but I would like Sonic to be more amiable to Amy. In Unleashed when she asks if you’ll go on a date with her, I always wished there were other options besides ‘No’ and ‘Maybe’.
Do you think in Sonic Chronicles, Sonic cares about Amy and love her alot before beating Ix for last time, Don’t you think Sonic Chronicles 2 will keep Sonic and Amy’s relationship?

Either it’s going to be a new form of Metal Sonic, Mecha Sonic making his 3D debut, or this is another case of MEGATRON WILL NOT BE MAKING AN APPEARANCE IN THIS MOVIE. (Spoiler alert: he does.)
And of course we’re always butthurt about new stuff/stuff that’s been the norm for a considerable amount of time. WE’RE THE SONIC FANDOM~~! …and how is that “news”?

dude it would be cool if it was after all rocket metal or metal sonic No. 29 is only in the opening and the only why to play him is to hack STF and i think he cool and look like mecha and metal sonic fused even his moves in the game are neat but his look on sonic channel is sweet
