Fix for Sonic 2 Mobile Still Pending
If you hold either an iPhone or iPod Touch and have endured lag issues in the mobile Sonic the Hedgehog after updating to iOS version 4, Sega has released an update that will quell the problem.
Users had reported some slowdown with the portable edition upon upgrading. Version 1.2.6 fixes that, allowing better support with the new OS and, if you have one, the iPhone 4.
Sega is chipping away at similar problems in its other App Store offerings, including Sonic the Hedgehog 2. No fix is yet available for that, but we’ll let you know when one becomes available.
