Splashing Springs, Splashing on your Desktop Inside
Late on Wednesday, Sonic FreeRunner project head Azukara confirmed the SFG’s presence at this year’s Sonic Amateur Games Expo in demo form.
The video you see below is a very rough outline of Splashing Springs, the stage you’ll be able to play in 3D once the show commences. It may look quite rough around the edges, but animations will be fixed as will the level layout for your consumption.
After SAGE, work will continue on items like enemy AI, along with camera and gameplay tweaks. FreeRunner looks to be one to watch at this year’s SAGE. For the moment, you’ll just have to watch the latest tech demo in the video box below.
