What’s in a Name? Apparently, Not Much
The results of the latest TSSZ News @Issue poll perhaps show, if nothing else, that problems with the upcoming Sonic the Hedgehog 4 are rooted in much more than its direct descendant name.
Out of 748 votes tallied, 57 percent said their opinion of the game would not change if the name did. Still, 30 percent said their opinion would differ. Thirteen percent were unsure.
Some in the community have said they would offer less harsh criticism toward the next Sonic if it were simply named something else. But for this poll, we were very careful not to “load” the question and ask how your opinion would change, if at all. To discuss that area, you can use the comments section below. In the meantime, a new poll is available to vote on.

I was one of the unsure 13%. I feel special.
I guarantee there would be less bitching and less crushed spirits. Of course the latter is only really aimed at about 3 people that will go unmentioned.
Sonic 4 is good, hell no, is AWSOME
Meh… I was one of the 13 percent. I feel special too, Mighty!
Even if Episode 1 was an fangame and called Sonic & Robotnik in an hatelove relationship it would still be the rehash-monster no matter what name.
Sonic 4 is like sonic 1. Cool levels without to much multiple path’s. I bet the later episodes wil get those bigger levels
The game’s name is Sonic the Hedgehog 4, get over it. It’s not going to change no matter how much people whine and moan about it. It is a good name, and it does not bother me at all.
Cannot wait to see what future episodes will be like.
