Back in Original Dev’s Hands, Screenshots Inside
AM3, not Sumo Digital, will be behind the next installment in the Virtua Tennis series, according to Sega’s formal announcement of Virtua Tennis 4 today.
It was a surprise to most; first word of VT4 surfaced at press events related to the upcoming Gamescom show in Germany, where Sega has no formal presence. The game will be shown via Sony’s booth at the show.
To be released next year, VT4 will be exclusive to the Playstation 3 and support motion control via Playstation Move, as well as 3D technology. The game will be out next year, and a full player roster will be unveiled in the coming months.
To complement today’s announcement, Sega furnished through its press portal several screenshots of the game. You can find those in our gallery below.
