Here, “500″ is a Recurring Number
This looks much more legitimate than the “original” Sonic 1 cart we showed you yesterday. Out of Florida, we have a seller with 99.8 percent positive feedback wanting to be rid of the prototype Sonic figurine you see here (and in our gallery below.)
The toy is from the Sonic Adventure 2: Battle era, and here’s the catch–only 500 of them were ever produced, according to the seller. This copy is new, sealed, and in mint condition.
It can be yours for $499.99–about $500 plus shipping, though delivery confirmation is included. You can also make an offer, but only serious ones will be considered.
For most, it may be out of your price range, but it’s still neat to look at. So, take a look at the several shots of it below. Think it’s a bad deal? Tell us in the comments section.

I remember these. It was a pretty decent toy, model was pretty accurate. Arms are a bit too long here, though. Also it kinda bugged me how his eyes are not looking forward in a static position. Never got a hold of a Shadow one, though. Feels bad, man. :C
Not worth $500?
Hmm… That’s overpriced if you ask me. I paid a lot less for mine, and mine is actually number 1 out of 500 (the number is on the bottom)
i used to have one of these!… until it broke and my dad threw it away against my will. >:/ i never knew it was so rare tho. O.O
My situation seems to be the opposite of most people. I have the Shadow, but I was never able to get Sonic, let alone the rare prototype version.
Wow… I bought mine plus 3 classic Sonic’s and a Metal Sonic figurine for 60 dollars back in 2004.
Already got it so I’ll pass. (Mine’s in mint condition too! But I’d never sell it. It’s too amazing.)
@ SSC
A prototype Shadow? I’ve never seen that.
I had 2 Sonic’s but both of their arms fell off… I have one Shadow and one Prototype Sonic.
@ Edge
I meant I had the regular Shadow, sorry. But a prototype Shadow would be awesome though, haha.
