At a Price Premium, But What Are the Extras?

Several online retailers across Europe are listing a special edition of Sonic Colors available for pre-order. Both Wii and DS editions are listed at €10 premiums each–€59.99 and €49.99 respectively.

Such information first surfaced in Germany on Amazon.de, and have spread sparsely to areas like this Finnish shop. That raises possibilities of release across the whole of mainland Europe, if not with the UK included. That said, no Special Edition listings have surfaced yet at UK or North American stores.

The price increase–the equivalent to a more than $12 markup–is puzzling, considering there’s no indication on what makes this second edition so special. No mention has been made on any product page of extras contained within. For reference, some North American pre-orders of Colors will come with a special Sonic hat, and some fans are speculating whether this is the bonus, just at an additional cost.

Demo of Sonic Something 2012?
Pink Hot Sonic Mode?
Test levels (White Blox Zone?)
Videos about game development and analysis of errors in previous games?
Localisation to country’s language?
Lack of localisation to country’s language?
Japanese voice-over?

No, I actually expect metal box, DS stylus and Wii System Update 5.4. But something else would be nice, as long as full gameplay is available for others.
