Updated Splash Hill, more Lost Labyrinth
Some new images of Sonic the Hedgehog 4 went live on the Xbox 360 Marketplace today. They showcase the game’s updated graphical look applied to Splash Hill Zone, and give us yet another look at Lost Labyrinth Zone. Changes include a higher color contrast on Sonic himself, and a new “motion blur” trail Sonic leaves in his wake. On Lost Labyrinth’s end, we get another look at the improved Minecart sequence, with what looks to be some sort of roadblock that probably forces Sonic to get out.

Looks awesome.
Neat!
I’m not too fond of that blur when sonic’s running, to tell you all the truth
I wish they’d show some different levels.
Since it only has 4 (5?) stages, they cat really show too much, so I think they should have just talked about it less in the first place. Take a lesson form Nintendo or Acti-Blizzard.
New motion blur trail? You mean that blue light trail behind Sonic? That’s always been there.
Anyway, I like Sonic’s stunned expression when he loses all his rings. Also, has anyone else noticed how the speed boosters have been seen very rarely in recent screenshots, if at all? =D
@Blue Emerald:
Look in Image10, the one in Splash Hill with the end sign. There’s a weird sort of… blurry trail behind Sonic. It’s there in Image6, too (Splash Hill loop).
inb4 more complaints over the most minor of things.
Hope it plays as good as it looks.
Ah, I see the blur now. Heh.
Still looks like a tacky fan-game.
Ah, I won’t bother anymore. Colours blows this shit out of the water.
LOOKS Awsome as allways did
More and more this is seems like the only Sonic game worth getting this gen.
Where are the updated features? All I’m seeing is automation and crappy physics,
